Background:
The current project is for helping in product marketing by testing the product in real operational environment. Environment Canada management authority has accepted the project but it is very important that we make the effort to get this acceptance to the user groups as they are the ones who will be testing the system and making the decision on whether to continue using it or not.
The generic application would require customization work to meet operational requirements from the different user groups at EC. It is very important be open to changes and to set the expectations and test objectives.
It is though very important to focus on the user acceptance and address the resistance to change by offering new functionalities and less disruption to the operation processes.
